Still City
13 in x 13in | Ink, Acrylic paint, Textured paper | 2024
I was inspired to recreate this city through ink because I admired the tranquil, yet busy atmosphere. However, with the ink alone I felt as if the city would feel too empty, so I added a variety of textures, from highlights of acrylic paint on the buildings and cars, to pages ripped from books and papers. I believe this decision gave the city the life that initially drew me to it.
